Advice Needed: Working from home with kids

Hi Ladies,

I am due to return to work shortly and since being on leave there is a new hr person.

Before I went on leave I'd asked to work from home a few days to save on childcare costs which at the time didn't seem to be an issue but now I've been told that bub will still have to have someone else looking after them while I'm working from home because of workplace health and safety.

This wasn't mentioned before and I've sorted out daycare based on the days I was going to be physically at work and it's my understanding that some of the other Mum's work from home with their kid's...

My workplace has a history of trying to say things are a certain way and when I've looked into its not, like having to use all my leave before I went on maternity leave so I don't feel comfortable looking to work for clarification.

Does anyone know if this is correct or who I can talk to to get some clarity?
