Join the Shire of Murray Library on Saturday, 17th August 2024, for Power Up! Exploring Renewable Energy, an exciting four-week program designed for children aged 8-11 years. Delve into the world of renewable energy through hands-on activities that explore solar, wind, and hydroelectric power. Participants will build solar ovens, construct solar-powered vehicles, design wind turbines, and create mini hydroelectric dams while learning about water filtration, clean water, and environmental stewardship. The program runs from 9.15am to 11.00am on the following dates: 17th August, 24th August, 31st August, and 7th September. This project is supported by the Western Australian Government through the State Library of Western Australia.
