WinterSun is thrilled to introduce the "Mitchies Ripple Race" to the 2024 festival lineup! This exciting race, tailored to feedback from last year's swimmers and families, is perfect for the young at heart, aged between 8 and 16 years old. Participants will embark on a 100-meter run to the sand spit, followed by a 100-meter splash n dash to the finish line. With great prizes up for grabs and the satisfaction of completing the challenge, there's plenty of excitement in store. Families are encouraged to join in the fun at the iconic Mitchies Jetty for this inaugural event. Plus, it's fun, fresh, and free! After the race, warm up with a delicious hot chocolate and donut from Mitchies Espresso Bar or enjoy a BBQ breakfast from Merimbula's Marine Rescue. Swim starts at 10:00 am, with registrations and check-in from 8:00 am. Don't miss out on this thrilling addition to the festival!
